I had been anxiously awaiting for Andrea and Brandon’s wedding day. Why? Because the Cathedral of Assumption in Louisville is one of most beautiful churches in Kentucky! After a beautiful ceremony, everyone headed to the Old Medical School building for the reception where everyone danced and partied the night away.

I LOVE Ashley and Rick’s sense of humor. Down to earth, silly, and just plain fun to be around. The ceremony was held in the chapel at Southland Christian and the reception was at the Thoroughbred Center. I also learned a handy trick from Ashley to fight back tears during those emotional parts of weddings. You simply pretend you are a pterodactyl and flap your wings, lol! Side note- thank goodness for spell check (thoroughbred and pterodactyl in one post is too much for me).

The Photostation was a big hit again. I love the way so many just cut loose and have fun with these.
After the reception they went to Castle Post just outside of Lexington to spend the night. I’d always wanted to check that place out!
This last one is how NOT to use an ultra-wide angle lens (unless you have a good sense of humor).
I’d been looking forward to Sarah and Jonathan’s wedding ever since I shot their engagement photos. The wedding was held at their church in Frankfort and the reception was held at Equus run vineyard.
I’ve been in a black and white mood lately, so I chose lots of them for this blog entry. I even recently bought another “newer” film camera, just to shoot black and white film occasionally.
^I had to leave the tractors in color, because it’s important to notice Jonathan’s red tractor pulling the John Deere.
Crystal and Doug’s wedding was held at the Inn at Cliffview in the Red River Gorge area (but don’t trust Google Maps to get you there and don’t expect to get any phone service either 
). And it may be a good idea to have enough gas to get home if plan on leaving the area late at night, since gas stations that are open aren’t too easy to locate. Great scenic views, super cool couple, and no bear attacks (which was the very next day) make for a great wedding!
